What Does This Mean for You?
By consolidating these disconnected systems into one Workday, processes will be streamlined – resulting in greater transparency, ease of use, and ultimately time saved. Some of these improvements include:
Timesheets: Exempt (salaried) employees will no longer need to enter weekly hours.
Grants: Principal investigators will have direct access to grant data, as well as tools for tracking funds, reporting deadlines, and other post-award requirements.
HR forms: No more paper! All forms and processes will be organized in a central (and digital) dashboard. In one place, you can:
- View paystubs and view/change your withholdings
- Request time off and view your PTO/sick balances
- Change benefit allocations o Update direct deposit info
- Update your dependents and emergency contacts
Financial Processes: All financial processes (including creating and submitting invoices, expense reports, spend authorizations, and more) will be managed through Workday.
