Our first Town Hall took place this Tuesday, April 30th, at the Charles B. Wang Center, and featured our WolfieONE leadership team, workstream leads, and our Deloitte partners. Over 500 faculty and staff members joined us in person and via Zoom for an overview of the WolfieONE project and an engaging Q&A session. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and for anyone who missed this important event, a recording is available on the WolfieONE website

“From the start, we want to be a full partner in everything we get right, every lesson we learn, everything we change, and every way that we grow better together as a community. That is the spirit of WolfieONE. The most strategic thing we can do is believe in our people and empower them to do the best job that they can do, because when we're all working together we are accomplishing the most and building the most effective solution for our community .”

“I am incredibly excited about this initiative. WolfieONE will produce more transparent information to better serve this institution, create efficiencies and evolve our reporting to utilize real-time information in our future state. Processes will be streamlined, the University will have more flexibility, and each of you will be a part of creating a legacy here at Stony Brook by giving your feedback and helping create a new system that will better our institution.”
- Heather Montague, Senior Associate Vice President for Budget and Financial Planning

"Moving to a new Enterprise Resource Planning system isn't just about upgrading technology; it's allowing our organization to Reimagine the Way We Work, one of the priorities within Stony Brook's Strategic Plan 'Our Moment'. It signifies both Finance & Administration and the entire University's commitment to efficiency, collaboration and growth. As we embrace this change, we're embracing the future of our institution, as this new system represents a catalyst for innovation, streamlining processes and empowering our teams to excel."
- Jackie Castaldo, Senior Director of Business, Finance & Administration

Stakeholder Readiness: Review / Update Employee Information (We Need Your Help)

WolfieONE is expected to bring greater efficiency to our work processes through automation and reliable data. In preparation for the transition from SOLAR to WolfieONE, it is a best practice to review and update your data in the current PeopleSoft (SOLAR) system. Kindly take a moment to review the following data for accuracy:
  • Home Address
  • Office Address
  • Phone number
  • Emergency Contacts and their Phone Numbers (only home and cell phone numbers will be converted to WolfieONE)
You may need to revisit this information periodically (if there are changes) between now and before we go live with WolfieONE. Access SOLAR to take a moment to do this now.
