Howard R. Driggs Memorial Lecture
Dr. Brandon W. Rensink, professor of history and associate director of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at BYU, will present the 2026 Howard R. Driggs Memorial Lecture on Tuesday, March 24, as part of our SUU Founders Celebration. The lecture is free and open to all!

Join us for a day of giving back on Saturday, March 28. The second annual SUU Day of Service is an opportunity for students, employees, and alumni to make an impact by participating in service projects across campus and our local community.

Eric Houle Retirement
Coach Houle Announces Retirement 
After more than three decades of building one of the premier cross county and track & field programs, Coach Eric Houle has announced that the 2026 outdoor track & field season will mark his final year leading the Thunderbirds. He leaves an unmatched legacy on SUU athletics history as he concludes his 34-year career.

Meet up with T-Bird alumni on the 3rd base party deck for a night of good company, great baseball, and an all-you-can-eat buffet. On Friday, May 22nd, dinner, sodas, and water are all on us, just bring yourself and someone you want to catch up with! First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. (PDT).

Our presenters are Adam Lambert, department chair and director of bands; Carol Ann Modesitt, professor of music/voice/opera; Andrew Briggs, director of choral activities, and Trevor Davis, professor of music/clarinet/sax.

May 22: SUU Night at the Las Vegas Aviators, 7:05 p.m. (PT) at the Las Vegas Ballpark. Join us on the 3rd Base Party Deck for a great night of baseball with your SUU friends and an all-you-can-eat buffet. Purchase tickets now!
