Dean's Remarks
November is an often overlooked month. It seems to be on an unpaved path between the larger-than-life decorations and celebrations of Halloween and Christmas. But, yet it is a favorite month for me. November hosts American Thanksgiving which is a bit calmer and more reflective. Notably, it calls us to a season of gratitude. 

The School of Education started this academic year with an event themed
SOE Kickoff 2022: Good News Edition. As faculty, adjuncts, and staff gathered in Azusa, we celebrated people and their contributions; honored three Alumni Award recipients, sharing stories of innovation, impact, and influence; and heard from our new President, Dr. Adam Morris. It was a day filled with gratitude! So many amazing stories abound! 

Amidst a high level of change in our world, it is easy to default to stress or uncertainty...
