Recognizing Juneteenth and Pride Month, Learning about the MBA

IUP cancels classes, closes most offices for Juneteenth; Pride Month event shares coming-out, ally stories; sessions answer questions about MBA, EMBA programs; and more
IUP’s Nick Deardorff will lead a grant-funded project to create a Geoscience Learning Ecosystem—a collaboration aimed at diversifying opportunities for geoscience students across the State System.
President Michael Driscoll shared that IUP will observe this annual holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Classes on Friday, June 18, are canceled, and most IUP offices will be closed.
The IUP Protection of Minors policy requires that events involving minors be registered with the university using the event registry web page. The registration process must begin at least 30 days before the event.
6:00–6:30 p.m., Zoom. This is the second of two sessions providing information about the programs, admissions process, funding opportunities, and more. Registration is required.
3:00–4:00 p.m., Zoom. Recognizing Pride Month, members of the Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement will share stories of being allies or members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
