An industry study found that 29% of the parents of special needs children had made no plans for their future and 73% had not begun setting aside money. By waiting too long to plan, parents may lose certain options that are critical to the length and quality of their child’s life.

Genworth Suspending LTC Sales
Genworth has temporarily suspended sales of individual long term care insurance and the Income Assurance annuity through the BGA channel in all states. Genworth will no longer accept applications for Privileged Choice Flex, Flex 2, Flex 3, Flex 3 - Element or Income Assurance Immediate Need Annuity. This change does not affect agent's renewal commissions or current pending business. Existing customers and their benefits will not be impacted.
