Guest/Visitor and Event Guidance Revised
Due to the continued low numbers of COVID cases among our community, the guidance for campus visitors, residence hall guests, and campus events has been updated.
Residence Hall Guest Policy:
Beginning today, on-campus residents are allowed to host outside guests in their residence hall, as long as the guest can supply proof they are fully vaccinated. A guest registration form must be completed and submitted to residence life staff. Forms are available in the RA office in each residence hall or in the main office for Residential and Community Life in Wilsbach Hall and can be filled out ahead of time, or at the time a guest arrives. Residents must also have approval from any roommates to host a guest, must accompany their guests at all times during their visit and must ensure their guests follow all laws and college policies.
Campus Visitors:
The visitor daily health screening is no longer required for people visiting campus by invitation or with a pre-arranged appointment; however, the screening is still available to use at the host's discretion, and hosts are asked to remind guests to reschedule their visit if they are not feeling well or exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19. Faculty, staff and current students may host visitors on campus and inside buildings and must ensure guests follow the indoor mask policy as well as all other college policies. Anyone inviting multiple guests to gather or meet together must abide by the most current event guidance found on the COVID-19 webpage.
Campus Events:
Events expected to draw over 100 attendees and will be more than three hours in duration, or where attendees cannot socially distance, must require proof of vaccination (or a negative test administered within five days of the event) for any guests who are not current students or employees.
Campus facilities will not be rented out to any private/off-campus groups through the remainder of the Fall 2021 semester.
Please note, these policies are subject to change at any time in response to the pandemic’s impact on our campus, local community, or wider region.
