Honor the #SpiritOfTravel During National Travel and Tourism Week, May 3-9

National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW) is a program from the U.S. Travel Association that honors the spirit of travel in recognition of the industry’s strength and resiliency. With the impact that COVID-19 is having on the travel and tourism industry, this year’s campaign looks to remind the country that even through the most difficult times, the spirit of travel cannot be broken. When the time is right, the travel and tourism industry will be integral to our state’s and nation’s economic and collective recovery.

Travel Oregon's State of the Industry Webinar

On April 29, Travel Oregon's CEO, Todd Davidson, alongside Alana Hughson, Managing Director of Oregon Destination Association and Jason Brandt, President & CEO, Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association, hosted an in-depth discussion to inform the industry of the efforts we’re making to address the needs of travelers, partners, stakeholders and residents in a time when up-to-date information is crucial.

Travel Oregon Competitive Medium Grants Program Postponed

Scheduled to open in April, the 2020-2022 Travel Oregon Competitive Medium Grants cycle has been postponed. Funding for the program will shift to a COVID-19 Emergency Response Grants program which will be announced in further detail in early May.
