Interested in meeting and learning from other students in STEM?

Students have requested a time and place to gather to chat about their experience and share potential opportunities in the UIC STEM Community.
We had so much fun hosting science chats last semester we will be hosting again this spring semester.
This Thursday we will be discussing how to prepare and set up your semester for success! Corazon and Sophia will share tips that will help you have a successful semester and they will invite students to share how they study and prepare for their science classes.
Next Wednesday (1/9) and Thursday (2/3), we will have a guest speaker Marlee Stein from Study Abroad. This session will be geared towards students in the sciences who are interested in studying abroad. We will also discuss the benefits of studying abroad and how they can positively impact your future career goals. Students will participate in group advising and learn more about scholarships and program opportunities.
