From Jessica Shaffer, co-chair of the A&F Staff Culture Advisory Council

On behalf of the A&F Staff Culture Advisory Council, I and fellow co-chair Grace Battle would like to thank everyone who joined us for the second annual A&F Breakfast After Dark held Thursday night to make it a success! We were honored to have this opportunity to express Administration and Finance's (A&F's) appreciation to our second and third shift colleagues who keep the campus running smoothly and safely for all of us at Georgia Tech.

We would like to thank our event team leads from across A&F – Naima Barton, program support coordinator to the A&F chief of staff; Cheryl Kelley, program and operations manager for Infrastructure and Sustainability; and Adrienne Richardson, HR Business Partner for Georgia Tech Human Resources; for their extra time and effort as well as lending us their creativity, resourcefulness, and leadership. Thank you again to our T-shirt design contest winner Kayla Ballew, ERP support engineer for the Office of Information Technology, for allowing us to use her amazing artwork, and to our campus partners in Georgia Tech Catering for providing the delicious meal. Finally, thank you to all the volunteers across A&F who went above and beyond to support this initiative!

Josh Rosenberg, executive director of Grants and Contracts, department successfully completed the University System of Georgia’s Executive Leadership Institute program in May of this year. Rosenberg was accepted into the ELI program alongside 35 faculty and staff members from 25 USG institutions and the University System Office.

This summer, the Administrative Services Center (ASC) has welcomed several new teams into its portfolio as it continues to position itself as the one-stop shop for high-volume, administrative services.

$484 million in state appropriations for fiscal year 2024 opens the door for Georgia Tech leadership to prioritize areas of investment.

Georgia Tech Human Resources and the Administrative Services Center has partnered with the Georgia Tech Research Institute to strengthen the integration of GTRI’s human resources teams and the campuswide HR service delivery model. 

The Georgia Tech Emergency Notification System is expanding its ability to keep the campus community informed.
