If you follow the YouTube maritime history channels "Battleship New Jersey" and "Drachinifel" then you won't want to miss these talks on board Red Oak Victory. Ryan Szimanski (left in the photo above) from https://www.youtube.com/@BattleshipNewJersey and Alex Pocklington of https://www.youtube.com/@Drachinifel will speak about the history of shipyards and ship building during World War II. Even if you're not familiar with these fellows, you're in for a treat to hear their perspectives on our local homefront history.
Doors open at 6:00 pm on Saturday, March 21. Beer and wine (for those over 21), snacks and sofdrinks will be available for purchase. There are no reservations required and there is no admission charge but we very much appreciate a donation of $10 per person.
