Now Recruiting for YWCA Peer Challenge |
If you’ve been wanting to get more involved with YWCA Clark County but haven’t found the right opportunity yet, our upcoming Peer Challenge is for you. We’re recruiting community members right now to join a friendly fundraising competition that powers life‑changing services for survivors and families in Clark County. You don’t need prior fundraising experience—just a desire to make a difference and a willingness to rally your friends, family, and coworkers.
The challenge itself kicks off in June, but we need challengers to sign up now so you can view our participant guide, view a program orientation and get support from YWCA's marketing team in early May.
Peer Challenge participants are our Community Champions that will share their “why” and ask for support with confidence. Try something new, and help fuel YWCA’s mission by signing up to be a Peer Challenger today.

Get Your Tickets to the Sunday, April 26 Denim Day Fashion Show at Ripple Space
|
YWCA Clark County is thrilled to share that we are hosting the inaugural Denim Day Fashion Show in partnership with The Difference, a local women’s clothing boutique dedicated to empowering women through confident self‑expression. This event is focused on amplifying Denim Day, which is an international campaign of awareness & visibility during Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) in April.
We’re also honored to welcome Heritage Bank as the first official sponsor of the Denim Day Fashion Show and awareness campaign for SAAM, helping make this vision a reality and supporting YWCA’s mission in Clark County.
Tickets will sell out. Special thank you for our venue partner, Ripple Space and media partner, The Columbian.

Help us Utilize a $15,000 Match to Support our Sexual Assault Program
|
|
|
|
This spring, YWCA Clark County is launching our Spring Appeal to strengthen the Sexual Assault Program—ensuring advocates can continue to offer skilled, compassionate support at hospitals, in courtrooms, and in ongoing groups throughout the year. Your donation helps sustain this everyday work so survivors in our community have a safe place to turn when they need it most.
From now until June 30, all gifts to the Spring Appeal will be matched dollar‑for‑dollar up to 15,000 dollars, doubling your impact while the match is available. Giving early helps us make the most of this opportunity and plan confidently for the months ahead, so if you’re considering a gift this spring, now is a powerful time to contribute.

Survivors of domestic violence arrive at YWCA Clark County’s SafeChoice program seeking safety, healing, and hope. Our shelter provides a secure place where adults, children, and even beloved pets can begin to rebuild their lives free from violence.
As families start over, small essentials make a big difference. Right now, our most needed items include:
- Phone chargers (Type C and iPhone)
- Diapers (all sizes)
-
Mattress protectors
- Batteries
- Culturally specific combs and brushes
- Non-perishable foods
-
Pet supplies or gift cards to local pet stores
We’ve made it easy to give. You can shop directly through our digital wish lists or purchase items locally to support independent businesses in our community.
Every contribution brings comfort, dignity, and hope to survivors and their families. Thank you for helping us make YWCA Clark County a place where healing truly begins.
Together, we can build a community where safety and support are within reach for everyone.
