NEW VOLUNTEERS JOIN YWCA CLARK COUNTY, MORE NEEDED
Over the last year, YWCA Clark County, has been tabling and calling on the community via social media to become a vital volunteer. Whether it's lending a compassionate ear as a hotline volunteer, facilitating support groups, or helping maintain our facilities, your involvement plays a crucial role in the lives of individuals and families in our community.
We're thrilled to announce, that since January we've had 119 individuals connect with us.
Currently, 10 individuals have completed the volunteer intake form and completed training to be placed with our SafeChoice Domestic Violence Shelter, Sexual Assault Program, and Y's Care. Additionally, six are undergoing training.
As we work to support survivors of domestic violence, empower our youth, and lead efforts to create lasting change, we ask you to join us. Your time, your compassion, and your dedication can help ensure that no one in our community walks their toughest path alone.
