As we look back on the past month, we are grateful for the many moments of celebration, connection, and community that brought us together. From the Project SEARCH and VETs Program graduations to our Luau Dance, agency cookout, and Winnie the Pooh performance, there was much to celebrate.
We also honored loved ones at our Celebration of Life ceremony, cheered on athletes at the Special Olympics Summer Games, and appreciated the support of community partners like Cox Communications. Thank you to everyone who helped make these meaningful moments possible and continues to strengthen the MARC community every day.

Despite the rainy spring, we brought the sunshine at MARC’s Luau Dance and Agency Cookout. These events were a wonderful reminder of the friendships and connections that define our MARC community.
Thank you to the students and staff at Manchester Public Schools for hosting a fun and welcoming dance, and to Highland Park Market and Shady Glen for their generous food donations. Highland Park Market's donation was made in honor of Tim Devanney Sr.

Our MARC Family came together this past month to celebrate the lives of Jeanne and David.
Through laughter, tears, and shared memories, we reflected on the joy Jeanne and David brought to so many people throughout our community. We are forever grateful for the time we shared with them and the privilege of knowing them in such a meaningful way.
Their memories will continue to hold a special place in our hearts.

Congratulations to our 2026 Graduates! |
We are incredibly proud of our 2026 graduates from the VETs and Project SEARCH programs. Throughout their journeys, participants gained valuable job readiness and life skills while working toward greater independence and future employment opportunities.
Project SEARCH graduates completed a nine-month internship program that provided hands-on workplace experience, while VETs participants explored career paths and developed practical skills aligned with their strengths and goals.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Sandra Ward (Goodwin University), Laura Bailey (Hartford HealthCare), and Alfredo Camargo (Member of the MARC Board) for their inspiring remarks at the graduation ceremony. We are grateful to our host sites, Goodwin University and Hartford Hospital for providing meaningful learning experiences, and to PeoplesBank for their generous sponsorship of the Project SEARCH program.
Congratulations to all of our graduates on this remarkable achievement. We can't wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish in the years ahead!

Building Pathways to Independence with Cox Charities |
We are grateful to Cox Charities for their generous support of MARC’s Pathways Program!
This funding will help provide technology, training tools, and assessments that prepare adults with disabilities for competitive employment. Through hands-on learning and skill development, participants will build workplace confidence, strengthen digital literacy, and gain the tools they need to pursue meaningful careers and greater independence.
Thank you, Cox Charities, for investing in opportunities that empower individuals to reach their goals and succeed in the workforce.
