The stature of Clemson University’s MBA program has received yet another boost with the announcement that its business administration advanced-degree program has been ranked among the top 55 in the country according to University HQ.

Collaborative Student AIS Chapter receives two national awards

There may be no better example of a Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business goal being executed on than by the student chapter of the Association of Information Systems that is housed in the Department of Management. The chapter received two awards for its efforts in the 2019-20 academic year – the Outstanding Membership Activities award and the Outstanding Communications Award.

Global experience uncorks his career as a ‘wine slinger’

Justin Rose didn’t consider himself an aspiring entrepreneur when he studied at the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. It took a study abroad experience to Paris for the 2019 Marketing graduate to realize the thirst he had for a career of his own making. That international experience became the launchpad for Squash Club D.C., his online business that brings natural wines to the doorsteps of his Washington, D.C.-area customers.

Summer Session II offers students a Global Leadership Experience

A “Global Leadership Experience” will be offered this summer, which consists of six credits of an international business curriculum, including a course in crisis leadership principles, all taught in a virtual environment.

April conference aims to Elevate Sales Innovation Program’s brand

The Sales Innovation Program is elevating its brand, enhancing professionals’ skills and challenging students with the Elevate Sales Conference this spring. The half-day event will focus on the future of sales leadership and provide students in the Department of Marketing’s Sales Innovation Program hands-on experience in making this inaugural event a success.

Data Science/Analytics master’s program information session March 11

The Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business Department of Management and the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences are holding a virtual information session on March 11 for candidates seeking admission into the July 2021 Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics class. This information session will provide an overview of the program’s collaborative strengths, degree options and class descriptions. The session will end with a Q&A that will be attended by faculty and the co-directors.
