Empowering Ability and Advancing Opportunity: Celebrating NDEAM |
|
|
Each October, we recognize National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), a time to celebrate the contributions of workers with disabilities and to highlight the value of workplaces that welcome everyone’s talents. This year’s theme, Empowering Ability and Advancing Opportunity, embodies the core values that define MARC, Inc.’s mission.
At MARC, we see potential in action every day. The people we serve bring creativity, commitment, and heart to everything they do. What they need most are chances to show those skills in roles that allow them to flourish. When local partners open their doors to our workers, they help build pathways for people to reach their full potential and give back to the community who supported them.

This year, we’re proud to recognize Mike’s Golf Outlet as the recipient of the 2025 Inclusive Business Award for their outstanding commitment to creating welcoming workplaces and valuing every employee’s contributions. Their partnership with MARC shows how shared goals can create meaningful change for both businesses and the people we serve.
As we celebrate NDEAM, we encourage other employers to take part in this movement of empowerment. If you or someone you know is searching for dependable, motivated team members, reach out to MARC, Inc. Together, we can continue helping people reach their goals and strengthen our workforce for the future.

On Thursday, November 20th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at 151 Sheldon Road, we invite you to join us in celebrating the heart of MARC: our incredible individuals served, dedicated local partners, and supportive community volunteers.
This special evening will honor 16 MARC individuals for their outstanding accomplishments and more than 25 years of dedicated service. Each honoree will be recognized with a special citation presented by statewide and local officials, including members of the Manchester delegation, in appreciation of their hard work and lasting impact.
We’ll also take this opportunity to recognize the businesses, organizations, and volunteers who go above and beyond to champion MARC’s mission and empower the people we serve every day. Together, we’ll reflect on the power of gratitude, partnership, and community that make MARC’s work possible.
