Thank you to our Counselor Advisory Board
UTulsa's Counselor Advisory Board (CAB) joined us on campus last week! Our CAB is made up of counselors from around the nation who invest their time and valuable insights into collaboration with UTulsa’s Office of Admission. They experienced a prospective student visit, attended info sessions on various special programs and departments, and attended Tours & Tailgates with prospective students and The Office of Admission!
| |
President Carson welcomed our visiting counselors at a CAB breakfast, during which he was able to share his vision and "Why UTulsa." Members of the CAB then gave real-time feedback to our team, brainstorming ideas for elevating our admission process and visit programs. Thank you to our current CAB members for your time, candor, creative ideas, and consistent advocacy for your students!
We are thrilled to continue implementing more of the ideas born from collaboration on "both sides of the desk." As a reminder, our Counselors Toolkit is available to you and is a brainchild of a previous year's CAB!

Members of The University of Tulsa Admission Officer Team have been busy reviewing application for admission files this fall. We are excited to release Early Decision and EAI decisions by Dec. 15!

Secondary school counselors can use slate.org, a totally free platform, to view their students' decisions. (You're only able to see the admission decisions once students have seen the decisions for themselves in Hurricane Tracker, UTulsa's applicant portal.) You can even upload materials for your students here, too!
