From the Dean

We had 29 new faculty members join the college this term. This dynamic, energetic group will be joining a dynamic, energetic group, as evidenced by this edition of IDEAS Monthly. Clearly, our faculty, students and staff are making great strides in advancing the academic and research enterprise of the college. It is my pleasure to welcome our new colleagues to the Clemson Family.
And speaking of the Clemson Family, we had over 400 alumni and friends join us for the homecoming tailgate this past weekend. The threat of inclement weather did little to dampen our excitement and enthusiasm as the Tigers took on Boston College. Photos from the tailgate can be found here.
Thank you for making time to join us for the homecoming celebration and thank you for all you do for the college. Each of you are critical in helping us carry out the mission of the college.
