I’m happy to report that my family survived spring break and even ventured out for some family fun. We went to the gorgeous Seattle waterfront on the sunniest day of the week and it felt like a mini vacation. It had me dreaming of a real getaway, like a trip to one of these fabulous Northwest lakes. 

During the tougher moments of break, I found myself utilizing these wise parenting tips from Dr. Laura Kastner. She and another fantastic parenting expert will join us tomorrow for an insightful ParentEd Talks event about motivating your kids to be their best selves. 

This week, honor Autism Awareness Month by embracing neurodiversity, whether you have a kiddo on the spectrum or not. Plus, show our planet some love on Earth Day at one of these feel-good events for families.
