RVR Acoustic in the Round

The first of hopefully many 'Acoustic in the Round' sessions at the Ranch House will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 8 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. If you play acoustic music or just enjoy listening to it, please come and join in the fun!  RVR resident, Don Marlin, will lead an evening of songs for all! Here's how it works: RVR musicians around the room take turns leading a song in a session or they can choose to pass on to the next participant if they just want to play along or listen. So, stop by, have a drink at the bar, and enjoy some fabulous acoustic music with your friends!
Holiday Decor
It's almost time to take down the festive holiday decorations!  Per the RVR Holiday Lighting policy, "Lighting may be on until January 31st. Holiday yard ornaments / decorations, visible holiday lights, and house icicle lights must be off and removed by January 31st. Outdoor tree lights must be turned off after January 31st, but homeowners have until March 1st to remove tree lights."
Christopher Faison
RVR resident and Roaring Fork Valley educator, Christopher Maury Faison, 74, of Carbondale and Aspen, passed away from a sudden heart attack on December 28, 2018, at Valley View Hospital with family by his side.

A celebration of life will take place in the spring. Click here to read more about our neighbor’s life.

Christmas Tree Disposal
The following options are available to you when you are ready to dispose of your Christmas tree:
  • The Town of Carbondale has a free dropsite in the public parking lot on the corner of 4th Street and Colorado Avenue.
  • Mountain Waste and Recycling will pick up Christmas trees for a $25 fee. If the tree is taller than 10 feet, it must be cut in half and will cost $35 to dispose of. This is not a service provided by the HOA, so a bill for the additional fee will be sent directly to you from MWR. Please note, you must call MWR beforehand to schedule a tree pick up.
