Matriculation Ceremony and Livestream

Dear Parents and Families,

We're writing to remind you that the Matriculation Ceremony takes place on Thursday, September 3. You are welcome to attend in-person -- please see the schedule below. The ceremony will also be livestreamed to view remotely, and a live transcription will be available.

Please note: The ceremony is scheduled to take place outside on the Academic Quad, rain or shine. If the weather is stormy, the event will move inside to a location that can accommodate students only. There will be indoor spaces where parents and families who are on campus can watch the livestream.

We are monitoring the forecast closely; Thursday currently looks rainy with the potential for thunderstorms. We will send an email update tomorrow if we need to move the event indoors.

9 a.m. – Coffee and refreshments (Dowling Hall lobby)
10 a.m. – Matriculation (Academic Quad - weather permitting)
11:30 a.m. – Jumbo Farewell treat (Dowling Hall lobby)

Following Matriculation, your student’s Orientation Week continues. Parents and families who attend the event in person should plan to depart after the ceremony. Please stop by the Dowling Hall lobby for a Jumbo Farewell treat before you leave campus.
