The start of fall classes is just a few days away. Keep track of those important dates! Here's a quick rundown, from us to you.

Whether you're new to CSUN or a campus veteran, we can all benefit from the experiences of others. Some seasoned Matadors have shared their tips to start strong and keep the momentum going throughout the school year.

Former CSUN student-athletes will be front and center this month in Paris at the Paralympic Games, the largest international event for competitors with physical, visual and intellectual challenges. Read on about three Matadors who embody the Paralympic motto "Spirit in Motion."

Summer Term 2024 ends today (Aug. 20). You may view grades for all summer session courses in the CSUN Portal starting today.

Weekend classes begin first. If you’re taking Saturday-only or Friday-Saturday classes, plan to attend on Aug. 24! Weekday classes begin Monday, Aug. 26, and Friday-only classes begin Aug. 30. Class start times are later than they have been in the past. Confirm start times in the CSUN Portal under “Academics.”

Access to online registration continues through the first four weeks of classes. Wait-listing for closed classes ends Sept. 2, Labor Day. Permission numbers are required to add all classes starting Sept. 3. Use Registration Planner to make last-minute changes easily.

Celebrate alumni who exemplify impactful professional leadership and thoughtful community involvement. Join President Erika D. Beck and the CSUN Alumni Association on Saturday, Oct. 19, for the Distinguished Alumni Awards.

The 40th Annual CSUN Assistive Technology Conference, March 10-14, 2025, offers a Journal Track for academics and researchers to present their work. The Journal call for papers highlights advances in assistive technology, accessibility and inclusion. All Journal Track proceedings are published in the award-winning Journal on Technology and Persons with Disabilities. Submit now through Sept. 3, 2024.
