We held our 4th annual Bikes for Kids giveaway at Willard Elementary School in December. The 3rd graders were asked to write an essay on what they would do to help others if they had a magical bike. The best essay from each 3rd grade class would be awarded a bicycle that included a lock and a helmet. What the students didn’t know was that everyone would be receiving a free bicycle. Christmas 2017
Santa Delivered!
Over 700 children recieved gifts this Christmas from the Fairfield Family Y Christmas Gift Giveaway and over 500 ECE children and even some parents received gifts also! At YMCA Play & Learn, Long Beach Police Department Volunteers and Chief Luna helped distribute gifts, generously donated by Gulfstream, to the entire family of over 20 preschoolers. We applaud and appreciate the generosity of our YMCA community!
