New enrollments and re-enrollments for the 2026-2027 4-H year will open on September 2, 2026. Youth may join 4-H at any time, however, our primary enrollment period is September 2nd – November 1st.

WI 4-H Fall Forum Registration
(Deadline Sept. 15) |
Attention 4-H older youth (Gr. 7-13) and 4-H adult volunteers! Fall Form is November 6-8, 2026 in Stevens Point. This is a great leadership opportunity to gain new ideas and skills to take back to your local 4-H club. Green County 4-H Adult Leaders will cover the registration and shared room costs for any enrolled adult leaders and up to 10 youth.

Family Farm Adventure Camp - Seeking Volunteers: Sept. 18-20 |
Green County 4-H is happy to again partner with Farm Bureau to provide volunteers to supervise the fun, educational activities. All 4-H youth and adults are welcome to volunteer, but 4-H youth MUST be supervised by a parent, guardians, or an enrolled 4-H leader from their club.

Meals on Wheels
Service Project Donations
(Deadline Nov. 2) |
Clubs & families are invited to contribute to our annual 4-H Service Project for our homebound friends and neighbors. We are looking for specific food donations and monetary donations, as well help assembling boxes of healthy, shelf-stable food for Meals on Wheels recipients. This is a great opportunity to learn about the needs of others in our community and actively serve others!

| 4-H Record Book Review Help Needed: Older Youth & Adults |
We need older youth (7th gr & up) and adults (parents, grandparents and leaders) to help with Record Book reviews. The youth have put in a great deal of time and energy into these books; now we need to put in the time giving them meaningful feedback and recognition. Many hands make light work!

Have cute 4-H photos from County Fair or other 4-H activities? Email photos to Sam at the Extension Office. Please share your club name and a sentence describing the photo.

Cheese Days Children's Parade |
September 18
Green County 4-H is excited to once again participate in the Cheese Days Children’s Parade. All youth are welcome to participate and MUST be supervised by a parent, guardians, or an enrolled 4-H leader from their club. Please try to wear a green shirt OR a 4-H shirt.

4-H Shooting Sports Volunteer Certification |
Deadline: September 13
Become a 4-H Shooting Sports Certified Instructor, or add an additional discipline certification! Must be an approved 4-H Volunteer and register through 4HOnline. Learn more at the WI 4-H Shooting Sports website.

Volunteers Needed for Explore 4-H Day |

Green County 4-H is hosting our annual open house event, called “Explore 4-H Day” at the Green County Fairgrounds on Sunday, October 4th from 1:00-3:00pm. We are in need of lots of volunteers to help! We need volunteers to help greet visitors, host our welcome table and run project stations.
