Is Your Business Interested in Hosting a Summer Intern (paid or unpaid)?

Now is a great time to offer and introduce a returning college student an opportunity within your company!  If you would like to share and get your internship marketed to this specific population of students, send them to Workforce Coordinator, Anisha Zak, azak@wdimn.org.

If you have any other hiring needs within your organization geared towards current high school students, feel free to send those as well.

Lastly, Signing Day 2020 will take place!  Just not in person this year.  We would love the opportunity to connect a graduating Senior who plans to enter the workforce full-time, directly to your business. If you are willing to offer these students a full-time job, connect with Anisha ASAP so we can find you the right fit!

Owatonna is on a path for growth and your business is (or was before Covid) at the forefront.  Hiring isn't easy, and its competitive.  What sets Owatonna apart?  It's little things and big things.
This happens to be about one of the things that enhances.
Hanging Flower Baskets in Central Park, over the Morehouse Dam and along the streets in downtown Owatonna.  They are part of the showcase in our town.
Mainstreet is reaching out for donors for 120 flower baskets. 100 % of donations are used to purchase baskets from a local grower & and hire locals for watering.  Things have been crazy for everyone this spring.  Our goal is 135 donations.  You can help and find the donation form here at owatonna.org, or call the Chamber today to make a tax-deductible gift of flower baskets in the name of your business or the flower lover in your family.  Please spread the word and Thanks for your help!
Anticipated hanging date of the baskets will be Thursday, May 28th with a rain date of May 29th.
