Our Medical Student and Resident Pizza & Politics event was a success! Thank you to all of the medical students and residents that were able to attend last month. Attendees had the chance to connect with peers and NAM physician leaders, Christin Giordano McAuliffe, MD and Kevin Smith, MD, to discuss healthcare policy, gain insight into the legislative process, and prepare for Doctors' Day on the Hill.

The Tennessee Medical Education Fund Inc., is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation, created by the Tennessee Medical Association to provide scholarships to medical students in Tennessee medical schools, residents and physicians in medical school or practicing medicine in Tennessee and also supports other medical student and resident programs.
To apply, student NAM and TMA members need to log in to their member info hub portal. Applicants can find the link on the Home page (right under “Click here to go to TMA's website” / before the instructional video).

Membership renewal for 2026 is now underway! Individual members have recieved a joint NAM/ TMA invoice mailed or emailed from TMA, while group members have received invoices from NAM. Your dues support all of our programming and events at NAM, as well as TMA's advocacy and governmental affairs work.
