Public Publicy & International Affairs (PPIA) Fellows Program Webinar
Application Deadline: November 1
  • The goal of the PPIA Fellowship Program is to help students achieve a Master’s or joint degree, typically in public policy, public administration, international affairs or a related field (including law). Each year, PPIA seeks out high-potential undergraduate juniors from universities across the country to participate in an intensive seven-week Junior Summer Institute (JSI) before their senior year. During their program, fellows are equipped with the knowledge and skills they will need to succeed in graduate school and ultimately, in influential roles serving the public good

Gaither Junior Fellows Program Webinar
Campus Application Deadline: December 3
  • The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is a unique global network of policy research centers in Russia, China, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. Gaither junior fellows work as research assistants to the endowment's senior associates Washington D.C. Each year the endowment offers approximately 10-12 paid, one-year positions to graduating seniors and individuals who have graduated during the past academic year. Must have an interest/experience in international affairs.

All or Multiple Disciplines
Lilly Graduate Fellowships in Humanities and the Arts- Intent to Apply Deadline:November 9. The Fellowship offers opportunities to participate in conferences and to work with a mentor and provides three years of stipendiary support at the rate of $3,000 per annum; it is, therefore, a wonderful and rare opportunity for students planning to pursue careers as teachers and scholars.
Eligibility
  • Must have received their undergraduate degree from LMU after April, 2014, and by the end of the 2018-2019 academic year
  • Plan to begin a Ph.D., M.F.A., Th.D., or comparable terminal degree program in the humanities or arts (art, art history, creative writing, history, interdisciplinary studies, languages and literatures, music, music history, philosophy, religious studies, rhetoric, theater history, theater arts, or theology) at a North American institution in Fall 2019;
  • Be U.S. citizens;
  • Desire a teaching career within a Church-related school in the humanities or arts
  • Demonstrate a willingness to “engage modes of Christian practice and inquiry in the context of the academy and their academic disciplines.”

AAUW International Fellowships- Deadline: November 1. Awards of up to $30,000 for full-time study or research in the United States to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Both graduate and postgraduate studies at accredited U.S. institutions are supported.

Watson Institute’s American Impact Fellowship- Deadline: October 15 for Spring Semester! At Watson Institute’s Semester Incubator, college students and recent graduates with an early-stage social venture or project complete their Watson experience as a study away/abroad from a home university, gap semester before attending university, or as a ‘pre-career’ semester after their undergraduate degree.Watson Institute’s American Impact Fellowship fully covers the cost of attending Watson’s 4-month Semester Incubator program in Boulder, Colorado. The merit-based Fellowship is tailored for young innovators and social entrepreneurs based in the United States looking to launch social ventures tackling the greatest challenges facing the world. Must be a U.S. citizen to apply.

Frank R. Seaver College of Science & Engineering
National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program- Deadline: October 20-26*! The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based Master's and doctoral degrees at accredited United States institutions. *Deadline varies by discipline.
