Spring is Here!

Spring continues to unfold on campus and that brings with it the excitement of March Madness, many different events on campus, and eventually culminating with the end of the school year and graduation! We at the Office of Student Veterans hope your Spring semester is going well and look forward to seeing you at the various upcoming events on campus!
Any active duty student veterans experiencing issues due to unexpected deployments or a change in orders should refer to Duke's Call-Up Policy or contact the Office of Student Veterans. Duke University makes consideration for students who are unexpectedly affected by a change in military orders and we can help you navigate that moving forward.
Warmest Regards,

Call For Military-Affiliated Duke Student Focus Group

The Duke Libraries Research and Instruction Services department needs your help. In order to better understand the unique needs of all the students they serve, this semester they are speaking with military-affiliated students (veterans, active duty, reserve, and guard). Your input will help them improve library services and resources to better meet your needs and help staff understand your experiences at Duke and with the libraries.

They are currently looking for volunteers to participate in a focus group with 3-6 other military-affiliated participants, conducted remotely via Zoom. This focus group will also be facilitated by a veteran member. The focus group will last 90 minutes, and participants will be given a $10 Amazon gift card.

If you are willing to participate, please send an email to the focus group facilitator, Emily Arnsberg, at Emily.arnsberg@duke.edu with your interest in participating no later than Friday, March 25, 2022.
