Loves About Brebeuf
I was originally never going to come to Brebeuf and had my plans set on a public high school. But once I shadowed, I knew there was no other place for me. Brebeuf is so special because we truly are a family. We constantly support each other in whatever we do, from teachers and administrators to students. Also, Brebeuf encourages students to voice their own beliefs and opinions. We are a very open community and we are respectful of everyone.

I will be attending Wofford College In Spartanburg, SC to play volleyball and study Biology or Psychology.

Everybody knows that Girls Volleyball will be competing in Regionals this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. vs. Tri-West at Danville High School. A couple questions though:
What is something not everybody knows about this team?
What amazes me about this team is how committed we are to winning, from the players to the coaching staff. After our practice time is over, we are constantly staying after to work harder and learn more. We come in early before our practice to work on skills. We are studying our opponents and noticing their tendencies and how we can counter our play to outsmart them and outplay them. We never take no for an answer and we are never fully satisfied with our play. I am so incredibly proud of this team and how far we have come. At the beginning of the state run, the varsity team sat in Coach Haugh's office, and we made a promise to each other: for the rest of the state run, we would play for each other, and each time we step onto the court, our play was for our teammates. That promise has brought us even closer together, and we have one united goal, which is to win. Every single player on this team has stepped up to meet that goal. I am so incredibly proud to be part of the Brebeuf Volleyball family and I can’t wait to see how far we go.
What do you say to the fans who are still on the fence about coming out to cheer on this team?
WE NEED YOU!!!! BE THERE AT 10:00 A.M. DANVILLE HIGH SCHOOL, 100 WARRIOR WAY, DANVILLE. The energy and support that our fans bring to every game is INSANE!!!! The amount of love that we have received all season long from Braves Nation has been really invaluable. The fans get really into the game and have pushed us to play better. There is no better feeling than hearing your fans scream and cheer after we get a big kill or a big dig. It is a privilege and an honor to represent Brebeuf playing a game that we all love. Danville isn’t too far and I know our opponents will be bringing fans too so let's prove that we are the best!!!
