Biotechnology Students Participate in a Brebeuf CSI Murder Mystery

Each year, students in Ms. Annee's Biotechnology classes participate in a CSI-themed murder mystery involving a number of Brebeuf Jesuit faculty and staff. Over the course of weeks, students interview potential suspects, get fingerprints, and take DNA samples to "find the killer." Students are responsible for completing the lab work required to test the samples and determine the course of the investigation.
This year's CSI Murdery Mystery was another smashing success! Brebeuf Jesuit Biotechnology students solved the mystery and successfully arrested multiple Brebeuf Jesuit faculty. Mr. Strader was first taken into custody, and then claimed that Madame Poole gave the “final lethal blow." Madame Poole insisted “we would have gotten away with this if Mr. Rott wouldn’t have panicked after dragging the body." Students then learned from Mr. Rott that Mr. Hicks was the actual murderer, but cleverly wore rubber gloves, thus leaving no evidence at the crime scene. Case closed!
