This June, CATCH will award $5,000 in college sponsorships to students who help us advance the vaping prevention movement by completing a CATCH My Breath Service Learning Project.

With schools closed, it's the perfect time for youth to take the lead on this crucial issue.

The CATCH My Breath team is hosting a webinar about the Service Learning Projects on Tuesday, April 21 at 2:00pm CST. This is an opportunity for teachers, parents, and students to learn the ins and outs of the projects and ask questions directly to our team!

There is plenty of time to do a Service Learning Project online before the May 15th submission deadline, and all are welcome to attend the webinar.

All of our projects are distance-learning friendly and can help students make an impact on the youth vaping epidemic.

Did we mention that there is a chance to win a college scholarship? The top 3 projects will be awarded:

🥇 GOLD - $2,500

🥈 SILVER - $1,500

🥉 BRONZE - $1,000

Projects are due May 15^th and winners will be announced at the virtual HOSA International Leadership Conference June 23-27.

Additional Resources

CATCH My Breath has published several resources to keep up with the demand for distance learning options.

A special addenda lesson titled Vaping, Lung Health, & Infectious Diseases which is available on our portal for free.
A distance learning guide detailing how to use video conferencing software to deliver a CATCH My Breath lesson.
Discussion questions to extend the virtual learning experience before or after a lecture.

If you are able to teach (or have already taught) the CATCH My Breath Program, students can complete the pre and post surveys.

Pre Surveys are intended to be done BEFORE students start CATCH My Breath.
Post-Surveys are intended to be done at least 3 weeks AFTER students complete CATCH My Breath.

Teachers - we would love to hear from you. We are taking this time to review our program and your feedback to improve it for the next school year. Please take 10 minutes to complete this survey
