We are excited to welcome you to Texas A&M University for your New Student Conference (NSC)! We have some helpful information to help you prepare for your NSC. Take a moment to review the information below and be sure to check your task list in the Applicant Information System Portal (AIS). Some of these actions must be completed several days prior to your NSC, so get started now!
Online Orientation:
Part 1 of the mandatory Online Orientation is available and must be completed at least three business days before your NSC. This set of modules was created to introduce you to your academic unit, outline items you need to complete prior to the NSC, share information related to finances, and provide an overview of what you can expect at your NSC.
A hold for Online Orientation (hold code AO) has been placed on your account and will prevent course registration until resolved. The hold will be automatically cleared once you finish Part 1 of the program.
Part 1 should take no longer than an hour to complete and does not need to be completed in one sitting. However, we recommend starting early to ensure ample time.
To access Online Orientation, go to tx.ag/onlineorientation > Click "Student Login" > Log in with your NetID and password. Those who complete the program as "Family/Guest," will have their account reset and will need to complete it again.
General NSC Information:
Additional information about the New Student Conference, including a sample schedule, can be found at newaggie.tamu.edu. If you have any questions, contact our office at nsfp@tamu.edu or call 979.845.5826.
We can't wait to welcome you to Aggieland during your NSC!
