Restorative Yoga Workshop with Mimi Dora on Sunday Mar. 7 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Allow yourself to relax deeply and breath slowly as you immerse yourself in this gentle Restorative Yoga Workshop.
This workshop is designed to relax your muscles, calm your nervous system and release emotional tension through a sequence of Restorative Yoga postures.
All postures will be done on your mat on the floor supported by props (blankets, a variety of pillows or bolsters, straps and blocks).
Mimi is a certified Relax and Renew Restorative Yoga Teacher. Having received her certification from Judith Hanson Lasiter, the guru of Restorative Yoga, from the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in 2015.
What you will need:
- A quiet, warm space with dim lighting
- Yoga mat
- 2-3 yoga blankets, soft blankets or fluffy bath towels
- 2-3 soft hand towels
- yoga strap, sash or tie
- Yoga bolster or a variety of equal pillows (small & large)
- Optional: yoga blocks and eye pillow
