Clarissa Gernat, a marketing and design coordinator for the Wellness and Recreation Center, recently completed a master’s program in Media Arts, Design and Technology, with a focus on immersive nature spaces to provide mental health benefits.

  • In recognition of Denim Day and Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Women’s Center invites the NC State community to wear denim on April 30. If you and/or your team wear denim, please send a picture for the Women’s Center to post on Instagram or tag them and they will repost (@ncsuwomenscenter).
  • Share the Wellness and Recreation Center’s toolkit for final exam success with your students.
  • Starting in the 2025-26 school year, NC State Dining is bringing a new offering to Park Shops, with French bakery La Farm, known for its award-winning breads, pastries and coffee, moving into the space currently occupied by Port City Java.
  • Terry Baxter, assistant director for NC State TRIO’s Upward Bound Programs, has been elected treasurer for the North Carolina TRIO state professional’s association. This two-year role encompasses assisting with maintaining the association’s annual budget, ensuring sound fiscal processes are observed by the board and reconciling all expenditures for the association’s several professional and student facing events.
