Josh Ingersoll, M.S. AE 2019, made the Forbes 2026 30 for 30 List under the transportation and aerospace category.
He is a Senior Manager of Government Lasercom Products for Amazon Leo for Government.
He also serves as an AE Mentor in Residence (MIR). The MIR program helps AE undergraduates and graduate students strategize their career planning.

| AIAA Names Senior Research Engineer Jimmy C. Tai as Associate Fellow |
The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) has named Jimmy C. Tai (AE 1990, M.S. AE 1991, and Ph.D. AE 1998), associate director, Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory, to its Class of 2026 Associate Fellows.

| 🏅Team Fan Fan Club Took Off with the Highest Honor in Aerospace Engineering at Capstone |
MARMOSET, a fully electric version of the XV-15 tiltrotor aircraft, won the Best Aerospace Engineering Project at the Fall 2025 Capstone Expo, held at McCamish Pavillion.
Team Fan Fan chose to design and build a fully electric aircraft at one-twentieth scale and go the extra mile and optimize the vehicle for urban air mobility purposes with the objective to maximize internal payload capacity, minimize power consumption, maximize the range of travel for the aircraft and to minimize noise.
