COLLEGE GAMEDAY
- ESPN College GameDay is landing at the University of Oregon to televise the festivities prior to the much-anticipated game between the No. 10 Oregon Ducks and No. 9 UCLA Bruins.
- Cheer on the Ducks from the Memorial Quad on Saturday, Oct. 22, 6:00–9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The GameDay viewing area will open for fans beginning at 4:00 a.m.
- Please be respectful and responsible while celebrating. We encourage students to familiarize themselves with party safe resources.
- For those without tickets into Autzen Stadium, the football game will be televised on FOX beginning at 12:30 p.m.

- The UO Board of Trustees invites UO students to the Presidential Search Forum on Monday, Oct. 24, 5:30–6:20 p.m. in the EMU Redwood Auditorium. Feedback and recommendations can also be made online.

- Don’t miss the Run, Walk and Roll with the Duck 5K, pep rally for the UO/UCLA game, and other fun homecoming weekend activities kicking off on Friday, Oct. 21.

- Duck Rides offers nighttime transportation services for UO students, faculty members and staff, seven days a week, 6:00 p.m.–midnight. Call 541-346-7433 to request or schedule a ride.
- The application is now available for the new Home Flight Scholars Program. Undergraduate Oregon residents who are enrolled citizens of federally recognized tribes are eligible to apply.
- Apply for the UO Libraries’ $500 Book Collecting Prize and build your library; the deadline to apply is Monday, Nov. 14.
- Apply for a service grant through the Holden Center to fund an initiative in our community! Applications due by Friday, Nov. 18.

FUN FACT
In 1947, University of Oregon athletic director Leo Harris met Disney and reached an informal handshake agreement that granted the University of Oregon permission to use Donald as its sports mascot, naming him Donald Duck. It's the ONLY mascot ever licensed by Disney. He is now known simply as, The Duck.
