Dear Faculty, Administrators and Staff,

Fall is in full swing! I hope you are finding time to enjoy the activities unique to this season.
This Thursday, the Ruth Sharkey Academic Resource Center and campus partners will host its annual Trick-or-Treat Trail. Students will stop by various offices to collect stamps and candy along the way. For those that are participating, thank you – it's a wonderful opportunity to engage with our students and for them to learn about the resources and offices here to support them.
Another way we continue to support our students is by providing our faculty with resources to continue strengthening teaching practices.
Last year, Seton Hall expanded its partnership with ACUE giving faculty access to ACUE Commons, a professional learning community that offers practical and concise development opportunities. Teaching is always evolving, so it's an easy way to stay connected to new ideas, strategies, and conversations in higher education. The Commons includes Quick Study courses on topics like AI and Deliberative Dialogue as well as expert-led events. This platform is designed to help strengthen and refresh your teaching toolkit without a lengthy time commitment.
We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. Please look for an invitation from support@acue.org to activate your account and join the ACUE Commons virtual teaching community. If you would like to request access, please complete this form.
Lastly, I'd like to highlight that next Tuesday is Election Day. As educators and leaders, participating in the democratic process helps shape a future in which we all play a role. Let us all take this opportunity to contribute to our communities and our nation by voting.
