Summer is right around the corner and with travel plans being postponed and summer camps canceled, we will, fortunately/unfortunately have extra time on our hands. Optimally we will spend this time taking action and making positive and healthy changes to our lives. This opportunity aligns nicely with our June wellness focus on intellectual wellness. Intellectual wellness is defined as "recognizing creative abilities and finding ways to expand knowledge and skills." An intellectually well person actively challenges mental growth and stimulation, is involved in intellectual and cultural activities, and is engaged in the exploration of new ideas and understandings.
To help nurture intellectual wellness development this month, we are offering the Go Read Challenge and Go Create workshops. Reading helps to improve the functioning of the brain, increases vocabulary, increases knowledge, and sharpens the mind. And our creative workshops, led by various staff members, help to expand our knowledge and skills and it's a great opportunity to learn something new.
Although our eighth annual Young Minds at Work will not be offered this year, these workshops will be a fun, relaxing, educational break for the day. The workshops are open to all family members and friends.

Check in each time that you exercise and include the length of time and what you did in the description section. No maximum of daily check-ins or minutes. Let's get moving and see which group is most active during this time of shelter-in-place!
