A lot of alumni have been asking how things are going on campus now that the students are back and classes have begun. Thank you for your interest!
Things are going well, but President Weinberg and other senior administrators continually remind us that keeping the virus under control is a monumental task requiring total commitment by the entire campus community.
Thanks to exhaustive planning, a combination of indoor, outdoor, and online classes has been effective in carrying out the college’s academic mission. Admittedly and intentionally, student social life has been constrained, but it has not been eliminated. And students and administrators are working on ways to allow students to gather safely throughout the semester. All the while, our panel of medical experts continues to monitor and adjust protocols for minimizing the spread of the virus among students, faculty, and staff.
