Why Submit a Lilly Conference Proposal? |
Proposal submissions for the 45th Original Lilly Conference on College Teaching (November 19-21 at Armstrong Student Center) are open. Why should you consider submitting a proposal for the Lilly Conference? These are some of the insights offered by past presenters:
|
- Interact with an enthusiastic and supportive community of teacher-scholars who, like you, are passionate about student learning.
- Receive helpful feedback and guidance on your work. Many Lilly presenters say crafting a proposal and presenting on their teaching inspired them to realize how important their own teaching results can be.
-
Learn how to discuss your teaching in ways that demonstrate your ability to reflect on and improve your practice.
- Engage in a process that can lead to a publication that is worthy to take its place in the knowledge base of the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL).
- Gain renewed enthusiasm for your teaching by interacting with other teacher-scholars from Miami and across the U.S.
|
The proposal submission deadline has been extended to Monday, June 29.
