Senior Associate Dean Richard Utz wrote a piece for Inside Higher Ed discussing the popular @ass_deans parody Twitter account. The article, “Taking Umbridge With Associate Deans,” examines why administrators are lampooned and offers a defense of associate deans as hard-working faculty “ready to apply our skills to serving others.”
