Ken Kollman to succeed David Campbell as Democracy Initiative director in January

Ken Kollman, the Dr. William M. Scholl Professor of Politics in the Department of Political Science and the Keough School of Global Affairs, will began a six-month term as director-designate on July 1 and will formally take over as Democracy Initiative director on January 1.

Robinson Center unites families, police, and community partners for summer celebration

More than 250 community members, including 14 South Bend police officers, enjoyed tacos, ice cream, live performances, and games at the Robinson Community Learning Center’s annual Cops and Community event.

A new study co-authored by Mohammad Rashidujjaman Rifat, assistant professor of tech ethics and global affairs, shows how artificial intelligence can empower parents to be engaged educators who tailor curriculums and learning plans that meet their children’s needs.
