Monday evening Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a new ruling streamling regulations for Durable Medical Equipment (DME), including the use of telehealth. We have been reviewing the final rule in detail to ensure we provide you solutions that are not only HIPAA-compliant, but also effective options that protect you and our employees safety.
Later this week, we will be publishing updated evaluation and delivery methods that incorporate the changes from CMS. In addition, our updated evaluation and delivery methods will take into account recent state Medicaid and commercial insurance plans approval of telehealth for mobility evaluations.
