Ginger Bread House Giveaway
Visit the Ranch House on Wednesday, Dec. 2 to pick up a complimentary holiday gingerbread house kit for your home. Kits will be available after 9 a.m. while supplies last and are limited to one kit per household. 
Reminder: NO Guests at Ranch House
Many of you may have visitors for the upcoming  holidays. We should remind you that, due to Covid restrictions, and to keep staff and homeowners safe and healthy, no guests are allowed at the Ranch House until further notice. Please make a note of this, as it may affect your plans for the holidays. We thank all of you for working together to keep measures in place so we can continue to have the facility open and accessible to our members.
Pedestrians on Golf Course
There is no pedestrian access on RVR Golf Course cart paths, bridges or greens. Joggers, dog walkers, and people cutting across the fairway have been spotted on the course. The course is still open for play and pedestrian traffic is strictly prohibited!
Please remember to always practice courteous pet ownership and pick up any messes your dog makes and be sure to leash  dogs while out and about.

A Day of Holiday Magic at RVR

This year we are finding new and creative ways to celebrate the holidays at RVR. We are delighted to share what we have been working on:
  • On Saturday, Dec. 19. visit us between 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. for a cool photo opportunity with real reindeer and a throne ice sculpture. Please look for more details and RSVP link in upcoming mailings.

  • Also on Saturday, Dec. 19 RVR will be hosting an outdoor holiday home decorating contest. Prizes, map information and sign up details will be announced in next weeks newsletter.

  • The Ranch House is also organizing a special member gift pick-up on Saturday, Dec. 19. More details to follow.
'Tis the Season for Giving
Tom's Door
Tom's Door and the Family Resource Center of the Roaring Fork School District in conjunction with River Valley Ranch are again partnering for our 5th annual holiday gift drive for Carbondale Seniors and local High School teens in need.

2021 Budget Process
At the November 18 monthly Board meeting, the Board approved the 2021  Budget. Click here to view it. Here are some important upcoming milestones in the RVR budget process:
  • Sunday, Dec. 6, an email will be sent to property owners with the link to the voting ballot. Your vote will be due by December 16.

  • Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the regularly scheduled monthly Board meeting we will provide results of the ballot vote, and the RVRMA 2021 budget will be formally ratified.

    If you have any feedback on the budget or the budget process, please share it with General Manager Sterling Page at gm@rvrcommunity.com. He’ll pass your comments along to the Board, or respond to you directly.

Fitness Programming
Master Swim
Join Dave Clark for the second session of Master Swim. This class is offered every Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. from Dec. 2 through Dec. 23.

There is a limit of four swimmers per class. Please sign up in advance at the Ranch House Front Desk.
