KU Reads Teach-In: Using the Common Book to Develop Critical Thinking Skills
3:30-4:30pm | Watson Library, 455
The 2025-26 common book, "The Anthropocene Reviewed," is a collection of essays on a variety of topics, many of which provide ample opportunity for academic exploration. This session will take a deep dive into a handful of essays to explore the opportunities for scholarly research on topics of significance. Using the common book as a jumping off point, we will dive deeper into how the common book can support the development of students’ critical thinking skills and inspire impactful and engaging student research. Led by KU Libraries’ Samantha Greeson and Jill Becker.

International Jayhawk Festival

Join us for an showstopping evening featuring the 5th Annual Kansas Drag Showcase! All your favorite performers from the last 4 years have been invited back to once again show off their skills!
The evening starts with a meet and greet at 4:30 PM, followed by dazzling performances starting at 6pm. The event is free with a valid KU, Haskell, or Baker student ID and $10 for general admission.

If you are still job hunting, you have until May 16 to submit your response to this required survey. If your plans change, you can retake the survey up to 6 months after graduation.
If you plan to graduate in the summer of 2025, and would like to participate in the Spring 2025 ArcD Graduation Ceremony, please submit an application to graduate by April 18.

If you plan to study abroad or are returning and need to take Environmental Systems (I or II), Programming, Ethics and Leadership, or Visualizing Site and Natural Forces, these will all be offered online in summer. Electives will be offered at undergraduate and graduate levels – make sure to enroll in the correct course number for your needs.
