Green Tip | Sustainable Products |
|
|
We all want to live more sustainably, but it's hard to change our habits with tried and true items we use every day. The key is to make small changes that will add up over time. Here are some ideas for sustainable versions of everyday items that are typically disposable. All are available in local stores or online: silicone baking mats instead of parchment paper, a stainless-steel coffee filter instead of paper ones, silicone baking cups instead of paper ones, reusable silicone food storage bags instead of plastic ones, a rechargeable electric lighter instead of a disposable one, reusable bamboo towels instead of paper towels, and reusable silicone swabs instead of cotton swabs. Try one of these swaps today and before you know it, you'll develop a new good habit.
