Los Angeles County COVID-19 Cases on the Rise
COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are continuing to show significant increases in Los Angeles County. According to public health data, case rates of adults ages 18 to 29 have more than doubled in the last month. On average, the county is seeing nearly 4,000 new cases daily.
As a result of the significant increases, LA County has tightened pandemic restrictions, including restricting dining at restaurants, breweries, wineries, and bars to take-out, drive-thru, and delivery only for the next three weeks. They are urging people to stay at home as much as possible in the next two to three weeks, and follow all health guidelines when you must go out.
With the Thanksgiving holiday this week, the following is a reminder about gatherings: only outdoor gatherings are currently permitted and are limited to no more than 15 people who are members of no more than 3 households. If you celebrate Thanksgiving this year, please do so safely and in accordance with all health guidelines.
