Students Get Tech Help @ the LRC!

The L/LRC team is available to provide basic technology support for students, including technical assistance with a borrowed laptop, help logging in to Canvas, or assistance with general questions about technology available at Cypress College.

Connect with the L/LRC support team by:

visiting the LRC in person Monday to Thursday.

Library

Our fully equipped, modern Library is staffed by knowledgeable personnel and friendly librarians who are ready to help you. Visit the Library on the 2nd floor of the L/LRC.

The most direct way to access library resources is from inside Canvas (click on "Cypress College Library Resources" in the left-hand menu of any course).

Borrow Library Materials

Borrow materials from the library's general collection using your Cypress College student ID.

The Library also offers a selection of textbooks that can be borrowed for use in the library for two hours at a time. Visit the Circulation desk for assistance.

Graphing calculators and Chromebooks are also available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Learning Resource Center on the 1st floor of the L/LRC offers tutorial services and other academic support both in person and online throughout the semester.

Tutoring

The Learning Resource Center offers one-on-one tutoring in the following subjects: accounting, biology, chemistry, French, Japanese, psychology, physics, and Spanish.

In-person tutoring hours:

Online tutoring will be accessible through Canvas.

Cypress Writing Center

The Cypress Writing Center provides live drop-in tutoring both in person and online, workshops, and electronic Directed Learning Activities (eDLAs) designed to help you improve your academic reading and writing skills.

Math Learning Center
