Even as efforts to vaccinate, unmask, and return to normalcy continue, the overwhelming possibility of large-scale evictions remains an imminent threat to our pandemic response and recovery efforts. The eviction crisis is still here and the future of our country – health systems, economy, social safety nets, access to justice, and our democracy – depends on us collaborating to amass every resource at our disposal to eliminate this threat right now, from every angle, and with prevention as the end goal.
The National Health Care for the Homeless Council has partnered with the National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership (NCMLP) and other organizations to convene a panel of national experts for a virtual town hall discussion on Wednesday, June 16, at 1 p.m. ET/12 p.m. CT/11 a.m. MT/10 a.m. PT/9 a.m. AT/7 a.m. HAT. The panel and the multidisciplinary audience from around the country will call out threats and identify actions to take now on the road to a full and equitable recovery.
