Calling all student employees
| |
Are you a student employee at UM?
If no: you donāt have to show proof of COVID vaccination.
If yes: youāll need to show proof of being fully vaccinated by Dec. 8. If you havenāt yet had a vaccine, to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8 (meaning two weeks out from your last shot), youād need the first shot of the Moderna vaccine by Oct. 27 (which was yesterday, so might want to go for another kind) and then a second dose, the Pfizer vaccine by Nov. 3 (then a second dose) or the Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccine by Nov. 24.
More info is coming about how the university will confirm vaccination status and eligible exemptions. You can make an appointment to receive a first, second, third or booster dose of the Pfizer vaccine at UMās vaccine clinics throughout the rest of the semester, or anywhere else that offers vaccines.
Employees/student employees can attend one of three info/Q&A sessions about UMās employee vaccine mandate and submit questions anonymously for panelists.
- Friday, Oct. 29, 1-2 p.m., Union Ballroom. Submit questions for 10/29
- Monday, Nov 1, 4:30-5:30 p.m., Union Ballroom. Submit questions for 11/1
- Tuesday, Nov. 2, 10-11 a.m., Union, room 124. Submit questions for 11/2
